What you have here is Informative On Comics, a comic book fanzine produced by two junior high school kids in 1971 and early 1972. Please take it for what it is, a ‘fan’ fanzine by two enthusiastic 14-year-olds in 1971 who loved and collected comic books and were avid observers of ‘fandom’. Since those days Buck went into music and had a very successful and talented band in Ohio called Thin Air in the 70’s and early 80’s. Buck, always one of the smartest fellows I have ever known, today is a successful executive with a manufacturing company here in north central Ohio.
I spent 33 years working in auto racing as a race track promoter, sanctioning body owner and official, journalist, radio show host and television show producer. In April 2008 it will be 31 years of marriage for me with three children and four grandsons.
I hope you get a kick out of this little fanzine, a blast from the past.
